History

On the site of today's building once stood two historic houses, U Jetelů and U Petráčků,
which housed breweries but were destroyed in 1689.
After centuries of transformations and reconstructions, a unique multi-purpose building
was erected here in 1929, preserving its original Baroque façade and adorned with cherub
sculptures by the renowned sculptor Matyáš Bernard Braun.
